The mission of the Jefferson Parish District Attorney’s Office is to ensure that justice is served by protecting the citizens of our Parish without regard to race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, or socio-economic status. Our office always will maintain the highest level of honesty, integrity, transparency, and accountability to our community. While our goal is to vigorously prosecute violent and habitual offenders, we also are committed to crime prevention through the implementation of innovative programs designed to break the cycle of crime.
